The Energy-Fidelity software performs a number of functions shown below. Data collection and conversion to the correct TDMS format are not included in the installer versions of the software and the assumption is that this is done specific to the data collection platform being used. This software used the TEMPO BSN with a conversion program to convert between the default XML data file format and the TDMS format used by this software (provided in the source code distribution). The tools were designed to work with data from a TEMPO BSN node but are generalized to any BSN which can output data to a LabVIEW TDMS measurement file containing channel groups corresponding to all the channels available on a single node in the network.
